This was our first outing for the new season and the team showed promise and great football. Pumas were a bit shaky at the beginning of the game however slowly got into it. The players were able to tell us what they needed to do to improve and there was a huge improvement in their game play.

We had a few unlucky misses and Hampton were kept out a few times with some great saves from Callum. Both team counter attacked well with Hampton just edging ahead of us. The football being played was great to watch from both sides. Chris was our goalscorer today with a cheeky curling ball into the back of the net from his own corner kick!!!
The team was a little disappointed at the end but there was no need. They know what they need to do to in training next week and in the end went away with some positive attitudes to bring to our game next week. The team is slowly beginning to work really well together so we just need to push ourselves that little bit more. They have bags of energy and always want to play their best and do themselves proud.

Thanks to the parents for their continued support. We have a long season to go and plenty more highs and lows but we will still be smiling come summer time next year!!!
