Today we hosted newly promoted Hampton Rangers. Despite our captain missing through injury and the wind swirling around the pitch we manage to take control of the game with a neat finish from Elias in the twelfth minute from a long throw into the box from Efosa. This was followed by a second two minutes later after Hampton failed to clear a corner, and the ball pinballing around in the box before it fell to Jack who threaded it through a crowed box and into the bottom corner of the net. We kept the pressure on and missed from the penalty spot on the half an hour mark. This gave Hampton a little lift, but we managed to keep them out until half time. The second half started and after fifty seven minutes Freddie showed us how good he is with his left foot with a lovely looping shot from outside of the penalty area, what a great first goal for Pumas particularly as he is still recovering from a preseason injury. In the sixty fourth minute Elias found himself clean through on goal after a great layoff from Mihai, and in his current run of form he gobbled up his second goal making it four nil. Two minute later he found his self clean through again after a cheeky little flick from Ayan, and completed his fourth hat trick in a row with a lovely calm finish. And a first clean sheet for Maciej since joining us! Another great performance and result again today from the whole team, well done everyone.
