We hosted Nene Valley today for our second league match of the season. This was always going to be a tough battle. All in all in it was a very good game of football. We took the lead six minutes before half time after being under a lot of pressure from Nene Valley. We manage to grab a second from a quick counter attack right on the stroke of half time. Nene Valley rallied again at the start of the second half and managed to get a goal back in the forty seventh minute. Thankfully we kept our heads and managed to resort our two goal advantage in the fifty fourth minute with another goal from Elias and his third hat trick in a row! Unfortunately six minutes later we conceded a second goal making it three two. We made some subs to freshen things up, the game was end to end by this point. Luckily in the last few minute Elias broke free of his marker cutting the ball back to Tyrese who calmly swept the ball into the back of the net with his first of the season, killing the game off in the process. Another great team performance and result, well done everyone!
