Park farm pumas u12 blacks were the visiting team at fc Peterborough. From the referee’s whistle fc Peterborough started the game with the majority of possession, putting the pumas defenders under pressure to stop fc Peterborough finding the net. Fc Peterborough continued to dominate the game and quickly scored taking the game to 1-0. Pumas forced their way back into the game with some great through balls to Oliver who then equalised with a great finish.
Pumas continued to fight to gain the possession of the ball with shots from Fabio and tylar saved by the keeper. Now both teams are controlling the ball playing end to end football with several chances created by both teams . Fabio has another shot blocked by the defence. Fc Peterborough gain possession and make a great run for their shot to be saved by Igor. Fc Peterborough take another shot which hits the bar the pumas defenders are working hard to clear the ball away from goal. Igor makes another great save keeping the game at 1-1. With a great kick from Igor the midfielders are able to play the ball to Oliver who makes a brilliant run and his shot is saved by the keeper. The opposition gain control of the ball again, with several shots going wide of the goal. The pumas defence were able to play the ball down the wing, Jp quickly made great use of a fantastic through ball taking the chance of a shot with the ball just going over the goal. A great first half was played by both teams.
In the second half the pumas came alive trying to find the back of the net, to try and take control of the game. Fc Peterborough were able to play the ball into the pumas half and a defensive mistake from pumas gave fc Peterborough the chance to take the lead when their player shot the ball into the net. The game is 2-1 pumas start to push to get into the game to try and get a goal to Equalise. Fc Peterborough continue to attack to try and get a third goal with Adam and Sam working together to stop their shots going in. Fc Peterborough continue to hold pumas with Igor making another great save. Pumas fought hard to get back into the game and played well as a team trying to get past the fc keeper. This was a great game of football to watch from the start to the end the pumas played with determination and pride and held their heads throughout. The score for today was a huge improvement for pumas after the 7-1 loss previously to fc Peterborough.
