Our Community Football Club Calls for New Volunteers to Join the Team Off the Pitch

Our community football club is proud to be powered by volunteers. We are already preparing for next season, we’re inviting new faces to get involved and help shape the future of the club.

Whether you’re passionate about football, eager to give back to the community, or looking to gain valuable experience, there’s a role for you at our club.

We are currently seeking volunteers across a wide range of areas, including coaching, facilities, administration, and club management. No matter your background, experience or availability, your time and skills can make a real difference.

Coaching & Football Support
We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to support our coaching teams at various age groups. From qualified coaches to assistants and team helpers, these roles are ideal for anyone who enjoys working with players, developing skills, and being part of matchdays. All required formal training and qualifications are fully provided and paid for by the club, with new volunteers supported and mentored by our experienced coaching team throughout their journey.

Facilities & Matchday Operations
Behind every successful matchday is a dedicated facilities team. Volunteers are needed to help with pitch preparation, equipment setup, maintenance, and general upkeep of our grounds and clubhouse. Full training is provided at no cost, and you’ll be supported by knowledgeable, long-serving volunteers who will show you the ropes.

Administration & Club Support
If you’re organised and enjoy working behind the scenes, our administrative roles may be for you. Help is needed with registrations, communications, fixtures, finance support, and general club administration. Any necessary training is fully provided and paid for, and you’ll work closely with our experienced admin team to build confidence and skills.

Management & Committee Roles
We also have opportunities within club management and governance. From helping shape strategy to supporting fundraising, sponsorship, and community engagement, these roles are perfect for those who want to contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the club. All formal training is provided and funded by the club, with ongoing guidance from existing committee members.

Volunteering at the club is a rewarding experience. You’ll meet new people, learn new skills, and play a key role in supporting grassroots football in our community. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a friendly, inclusive environment where everyone’s contribution is valued.

If you’re interested in getting involved or would like to learn more about any of the available roles, please contact the club chairman Ciaran McAuley at ciarso2000@yahoo.co.uk or via our website or speak to a committee member at the ground.

Together, we can continue to grow and strengthen our club—on and off the pitch.
