Message from Hunts FA
"Is your club looking to expand its network of female volunteers, but you need some support in finding the right people. Please share the details to a fantastic event with all your players parents.
Have you ever thought about volunteering in football in any way, shape, or form?
Mark your calendar for June 5th —this session is for you! Even if you haven’t considered volunteering in football because you feel like you don’t ‘know enough,’ guess what? This session is for you, too!
If you’ve ever thought, “I don’t know about football because I’ve never played,” or “I don’t watch football, so I don’t know any rules,” this workshop will help you explore the skills, attributes, and knowledge you already have that can be transferable to football. We will also discuss why children play football and how you can contribute.
Why Get Involved?
The FA and England Football Learning are committed to creating more opportunities for girls to play and for female role models to get involved in the game. Inspired by the Lionesses' success at the Women's Euro 2022, now is the perfect time to show young girls that they belong in football. Whether it’s at school, after school, at local clubs, or anywhere else, your involvement can make a difference.
In order for girls to play, we need more volunteers, coaches, and role models to help deliver football and inspire the next generation to love the game. Our goal is to break down the barriers that currently exist and support you every step of the way.
If you want to play an active role in your child’s football experience but aren’t sure where to start, who to speak to, or whether it’s something you’d enjoy, we’re here to provide the support, guidance, and information you need.
Keep scrolling to find out how we can help, and we hope to see you at the workshop!
