For those new to Pumas the reason we have to go to these venues is because we unfortunately we do not have our own artificial surface. We need an artificial surface because we do not want to overuse our grass pitches.

Although we do have portable floodlights available we do need to combine the artificial surface with the floodlights which means we need to look further afield. We are looking at funding and future plans to build our own 3G floodlit facility but need funding - If you would like to get involved in this funding project please get in touch ASAP.

So training is outdoor under floodlight. St John Fisher is on a sand based artificial surface and Hampton is on a rubber crumb 3G artificial surface.

Players should wear appropriate footwear - e.g. trainers or astroturf trainers. Football boots are generally not appropriate footwear on artificial surfaces and can be unsafe - particularly on the ST John fisher surface.

Please DO NOT wear football boots there or coaches may have to exclude players from the sessions on safety grounds.
