Our superb U13 Reds representing the club in this seasons Showpiece Cup Final !!

Our Park Farm Pumas Red U13s have written another remarkable chapter in the club’s history this season, securing their place in the prestigious Huntingdonshire FA County Cup Final after a series of outstanding performances that have captured the spirit, determination, and togetherness of the squad.

For a team built on hard work, belief, and a genuine love of the game, this achievement is more than just a milestone—it’s a testament to how far they’ve come.

A Cup Run to Remember

From the very first whistle of their opening cup fixture v Hampton, the Pumas Red showed they were ready to compete with the very best in the county. Each round brought its own challenges, but the boys rose to every one of them with maturity beyond their years.

- **Strong defensive displays** kept opponents at bay when it mattered most.
- **Creative, attacking football** lit up the competition and showcased the team’s identity.
- **Unwavering team spirit** carried them through tight moments and tough battles.

Every player contributed. Every goal, every tackle, every save played its part in pushing the team one step closer to the final, which they made while only conceding 2 goals in the entire cup run!

A Squad Built on Unity

What makes this group special isn’t just their talent—it’s their togetherness. The boys have grown not only as footballers but as teammates, supporting each other through setbacks and celebrating each other’s successes.

The coaching team has played a huge role too, guiding the players with patience, passion, and a clear vision for how the team should play. Their commitment has helped shape a squad that competes with confidence and carries itself with pride.

Head coach Christine Pickering noted that "....Regardless of what happens on Saturday I couldn't be prouder of this fantastic group and how far they have come on this season alone. It's a hugely exciting day for all involved and we hope to create memories that will last a lifetime."

Support That Makes a Difference

No cup run is complete without the backing of families and supporters. Week after week, the touchline has been filled with encouragement, positivity, and belief. That energy has helped drive the team forward and created an atmosphere the players thrive in.

Eyes on the Final

Reaching the Huntingdonshire FA County Cup Final is an incredible achievement in itself, but the Pumas Reds aren’t finished yet. They head into the final with momentum, confidence, and the knowledge that they’ve earned their place on one of the biggest stages in local youth football.

Whatever the result on the day, this team has already made the club proud. They’ve shown what can be achieved through teamwork, resilience, and a fearless approach to the game.

Chairman Ciaran McAuley commented that ".....the whole Park Farm Pumas family are so proud of what this group has achieved and how they have done it, with superb behaviours and playing football the Pumas way. The entire Pumas family will be behind them as they take this final step, we hope to victory, but whatever happens they are already winners in our eyes!! "

We would love to see as many of that Pumas family come down and support the team. The Cup Final is a 10am Kick off v Peterborough RTC at Leading Drove, Yaxley FC on the 3g. Let's get down there and let's hear the Pumas roar the team onto success !!

Come on you Pumas!
