The annual Park Farm Pumas Festival of Football once again proved that grassroots football is about so much more than the final score. It was a day filled with smiling faces, new friendships, memorable moments and a shared love of the beautiful game.

From the very first whistle to the final medal presentation, our home was buzzing with excitement. Hundreds of young footballers from clubs across the region came together to enjoy a day built on respect, teamwork, sportsmanship and fun. Every tackle, every save, every goal and every handshake reminded us why grassroots football holds such a special place in our community.

While the medals and trophies will undoubtedly be treasured, the greatest reward was seeing children playing with smiles on their faces, encouraging one another, celebrating together and creating memories that will last a lifetime. That is what the Park Farm Pumas Festival of Football is all about.

We would like to offer our heartfelt thanks to every club who travelled to take part. Thank you to every player for your enthusiasm, determination and exemplary sportsmanship. You represented your clubs with pride and helped create an atmosphere that was welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.

To all of the parents, grandparents, family members and supporters who lined the pitches throughout the day, thank you for your encouragement, positivity and unwavering support. Your cheers from the sidelines create an atmosphere that inspires our young players and makes events like this so special.

Events of this scale simply cannot happen without an army of dedicated volunteers. From setting up before sunrise, preparing pitches, registering teams, serving refreshments, managing parking, presenting medals and ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the day, every volunteer played a vital role. Your generosity, commitment and countless hours behind the scenes are the heartbeat of our club, and we are enormously grateful for everything you do.

A huge thank you must also go to our incredible coaches. Every week they give their time, energy and passion to help young people develop not only as footballers but as confident, respectful and resilient individuals. The values they teach extend far beyond the football pitch, and our club is stronger because of their dedication.

Finally, we would like to pay special tribute to Steven Redhead and Christine Pickering, whose tireless work, meticulous planning and outstanding leadership made this year's Festival of Football such a tremendous success.

Organising an event of this size takes months of preparation, countless phone calls, meetings, emails and an extraordinary amount of hard work behind the scenes. Much of that effort goes unseen, but without their commitment, enthusiasm and determination, this fantastic day simply would not have been possible.

Steven and Christine embodied everything that makes grassroots football so special—selfless volunteers giving their time to create opportunities for children to enjoy the game they love. On behalf of everyone at Park Farm Pumas, thank you both for your incredible contribution. Your dedication has created lasting memories for hundreds of young players and their families.

As we reflect on another fantastic Festival of Football, we are reminded that our club is more than just a football club. We are a family, a community and a place where children can grow in confidence, make lifelong friends and fall in love with football.
