The summer sun is finally here........
The summer sun is here and the UK is getting seriously hot this week with the high temperatures and strong sun.
A heatwave is forecast to hit the UK, sending temperatures soaring into the 30s and triggering a health alert.
The Met Office said there was an “80% probability” of heatwave conditions between noon on Tuesday and 6am on Thursday in parts of England.
A spokesman said: “Temperatures are expected to build on Tuesday and into Wednesday, with the hottest day of the year so far expected on successive days this working week.”
Wednesday is likely to be the hottest day of the year so far, with temperatures soaring to 33C (91F).
We are really keen to keep the football training going despite the weather, so just a reminder for some sensible precautions for the players (and watching parents) whilst training is going on.
Pumas ask parents to ensure that players have sun protection on, and that they come along with plenty to drink. Coaches will make sure they take regular drinks breaks to get fluids on board. If you have asthma, then make sure to bring along your inhaler as the heat can make some more prone to difficulties.
If well hydrated and protected, everyone can enjoy the summer sun and the football can carry on as normal.
